ASIA PACIFIC REGIONAL JAMBOREE (International Service Team)
I would propose to bring a group of Brunei Rover Scout (self Fund) to APR Jamboree as International Service Team. It open to all active Rovers would wish to make friends, gain experiences, a life time experiences and many more. Our job over there will be helping in running the Jamboree more smoothly by choosing your prefer field to help. Be it administration, first aid, challenge valley, rock climbing or others.
Objective: Gain experiences in International level Jamboree. (remember rovers motto is service)
APR JamboreeDate: 28 December 2009 till 3 January 2009. (Proposed for Rovers to depart on 23 to KK, 24 to Manila. Back on 5 January to KK and 6 to Brunei)
Theme: 'Scouts: Creating a better World'
Location: Mt. Makiling, Manila, Philippines.
Jamboree fees: US$200.00 (about B$260 depending on currency situation)
Not include air ticket to Philippines. Food, transport in Jam, tents and others are covered.
Method of route for rovers (proposed): From Brunei using bas to KK, then use Air Asia to Manila. Air ticket (est. RM$200)
Estimate 12,000 scouts and guides will be there!For those who is interested please contact Steven.
